"Grosso" is a Lavandin - a hybrid lavender (lavandula x intermedia) and is different from the “true" or "English" lavender. Grosso oil is used more for its stronger fragrance rather than for therapeutic purposes. However because it contains a high level of camphor it can assist with breathing difficulties, and is great for warding off clothes moths.

Its fresh clean fragrance makes it excellent as a home fragrance, for use in burners etc. You can also try a 10 drops mixed with your fabric conditioner in the washing machine, 10 drops on a piece of fabric and put in the tumble drier or some on cotton-wool balls and put in the vacuum cleaner bag. It can also work as an insect repellant in the home.
