Security:
We take the issues of security very seriously. When your payment is processed the credit card information is transmitted in an encrypted form, using 128-bit SSL. The padlock in the bottom right-hand corner (alongside the address bar in IE.7) of the payment page is an indication that this process is secure. You can review the security certificate by double-clicking this padlock icon.
All card transactions completed on the web site are processed using SECPay's secure encryption service. All the card information received is stored on a secure server, is not accessible from the internet and neither is it accessible to Jersey Lavender.
Since 10th May 2007 we have signed up to the 3D secure system of on-line card payments. This system will become the worldwide standard for internet security by building in extra security measures for internet payments. Other names for this system are Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode.
If your card issuer is enrolled in this scheme then you may be asked for additional security information to verify your transaction. All these steps are carried out on a secure page hosted by SECpay. We do not have access to this information.
